You could be a hero and save a life! 75% of people who need a stem cell transplant can’t find a match in their own family. DonorDrive4Dorothy will be hosting the event in association with OneMatch, Canada’s stem cell and marrow network. Registrants volunteer to have a cheek swab test to collect a small sample of DNA that is analyzed to identify their tissue type and assess their suitability as a bone marrow stem cell match. The process of being tested takes between 5-10 minutes. Young men between the ages 17-35 are most likely donors to help patients like Dorothy.
