Innovation at the Intersection: How Science, Technology and Community Voices Are Advancing Equity in Canada’s Blood System
Join Donor Drive 4 Dorothy (DD4D) at BFUTR Global Tech Summit 2026 for a fireside conversation exploring how science, technology and community action can help build a more inclusive blood system.
Bringing together voices from DD4D, Canadian Blood Services and Know Your Blood, this session will explore how emerging technologies are advancing transfusion medicine and helping address equitable, sustainable access to lifesaving blood products for Black communities. We’ll also discuss the essential role of community education, advocacy and partnerships in moving this work forward.
You’ll have an opportunity to contribute through live crowdsourcing, sharing ideas in real time and helping shape the conversation.
